VP of Asset Management
LaVonta Bryant serves as the Vice President of Asset Management for Elm City Communities, bringing over two decades of progressive leadership in finance, real estate, and public housing operations. Appointed in September 2025, she oversees a diverse portfolio of affordable, public, and mixed-finance housing assets driving strategies that enhance property performance, long-term sustainability, and resident satisfaction.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Bryant served as the Director of Procurement, where she led agency-wide purchasing operations and implemented innovative systems that modernized contract management, compliance, and cost control.
Ms. Bryant is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Connecticut and a committed advocate for equitable housing access and community driven development. She holds a Master’s in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University, where her capstone project focused on redeveloping the Maryvale Bridge United Methodist Church in Phoenix, Arizona into a 154-unit senior housing community. She also earned an MBA and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of New Haven and holds a Real Estate Property Management Certificate from Cornell University.
An accomplished professional with expertise in contract administration, financial modeling, and strategic planning, Ms. Bryant is deeply committed to leveraging real estate as a tool for community empowerment and economic mobility. Beyond her professional work, she is actively engaged in faith-based and civic organizations, including service on several nonprofit boards and leadership within her local ministry’s finance department.
